Collecting Can Representative (Perth)
Turn small change into big change!
This is a truly exciting time to join CHAS
Rachel House in Kinross, Scotland’s first children’s hospice, is about to undergo a £17 million transformation - creating even more accessible, welcoming, and inspiring spaces for children and families. From new hydrotherapy pools to fully accessible adventure gardens, these changes will help CHAS support more families than ever before.
But we can’t do it without you.
What’s the Role?
As a Collecting Can Volunteer, you’ll place and collect CHAS fundraising cans in your local shops, cafes, and pubs - turning spare change into life-changing support. You’ll be the friendly face of CHAS in your community, helping to fund the new and improved Rachel House and the vital services we provide.
Why Volunteer Now?
- Be part of a historic moment: Your efforts will directly support the Rachel House rebuild, making a real difference for the next generation of families.
- Flexible commitment: Volunteer when it suits you - weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, or evenings.
- Travel expenses paid: We’ll cover your travel costs, so you’re never out of pocket.
- Boost your skills: Gain experience in teamwork, communication, and community engagement. Plus, access free learning and development opportunities through our partnership with the Skills Network.
- Meet new people: Connect with other volunteers and be part of a supportive, inclusive team.
- Make a difference: Every can you collect helps fund life-changing support for children and families.
